FPGA Engineer
Build the FPGA side of a platform that measures and tunes silicon while it runs in production.
The role
We're an early-stage company turning years of reconfigurable-computing research into a product. As one of our first engineers, you'll own core parts of the FPGA stack and work closely with everyone on a small team.
What you'll do
- Architect, implement and verify FPGA designs at the RTL level
- Build and harden the flows that keep designs healthy on live, running systems
- Run silicon characterization campaigns across variation, aging and operating points
- Design firmware and software interfaces for FPGA platforms
What you'll need
- BS or MS in electrical or computer engineering, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years designing and verifying production RTL in SystemVerilog or VHDL
- Deep working knowledge of AMD (formerly Xilinx) or Altera device architectures and toolchains
- Fluency in static timing analysis
- Tcl and Python for flow automation
Nice to have
- Experience running FPGA designs in long-lived production systems
- Low-level FPGA tooling experience, including open-source toolchains
- A research background in reliability, aging or process variation
- Publications or open-source contributions in reconfigurable computing

Systems Software Engineer, HW/SW Co-Design
Build the software that turns per-element timing measurements into decisions a fleet team can act on.
The role
You'll build the firmware, drivers and fleet software that sit between FPGA hardware and the people who operate it. If you enjoy embedded platforms, hardware/software co-design or systems software, you'll find all three here.
What you'll do
- Build robust, reliable and scalable software, from small tools to production services
- Write drivers and low-level interfaces to FPGA platforms and embedded Linux
- Design scheduling and resource-management policies for fleets of devices
- Build telemetry pipelines and health models that operators can trust
What you'll need
- BS or MS in computer science, computer engineering or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of systems programming in C, C++ or Rust
- Experience programming against real hardware: drivers, memory-mapped I/O, DMA, embedded Linux
- Enough digital-design literacy to read RTL and agree on an interface with the people who write it
- Strong judgment about reliability, observability and failure modes in long-running systems
Nice to have
- FPGA runtime experience, such as AMD XRT or OPAE
- Production telemetry, fleet management or predictive-maintenance systems
- Performance analysis and modeling of hardware/software systems
- Python for tooling and data analysis
- Contributions to open-source systems or tooling

Internships
One defined project, one named mentor and real hardware. You present your results to the team at the end, and strong work can lead to a return or full-time offer.
Software Engineering Intern
Ship a real piece of the platform: telemetry visualization, device test automation or a component of the runtime that talks to live chips. You'll write code that outlasts your internship.
- Strong fundamentals in Python and at least one of C, C++ or Rust
- Coursework or projects in operating systems, computer architecture or embedded systems
- Curiosity about what happens below the software you write
Hardware Design (FPGA) Intern
Own a bounded RTL block or a silicon characterization experiment from start to finish: design it, simulate it, run it on a board and present the measured data.
- Coursework or projects in digital design with Verilog, SystemVerilog or VHDL
- Exposure to an FPGA toolchain such as AMD Vivado or Altera Quartus
- Patience when a design passes simulation and fails on hardware, and the curiosity to find out why
Business Development Intern
Work with the team on go-to-market: map target accounts in data center and in aerospace and defense, prepare material for pilot conversations and sit in on those conversations.
- Clear, direct writing
- Comfort learning deep technology quickly and explaining it simply
- Interest in how hardware companies win their first customers
